We are a friendly group of women who have all had breast cancer and live near Adelaide, South Australia. We meet socially once a week, to talk, swim in a heated pool and relax in a hot spa.
Breastroke came about after we had been participating in an other breast cancer related program, some of us for several years. We loved the camaraderie and support we felt from each other. The other group needed to allow for more newly diagnosed participants, so we moved off into our own small group, thus allowing the other program to flourish while still meeting the needs of our members when it comes to love, support and understanding.
